Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I will certainly tell him that the scars are cool if it helps him stay in decent spirits while laid up for the next six weeks. Then we can compare later. I suspect he'll win. I've only got knees and elbows from bike wrecks.

I am ... just so relieved to have talked to him.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sure.... "bike wrecks"

I buy my rope from one of her poly partners (Twisted Monk). I've read her blog, too, and it *almost* makes me want to be a pro-domme.

He's being Mister Santa on Friday night!! You see why I'm intimidated? Also, Saturday night is the big kinky winter dance, so I'm like "damnit, I want to go to that!" OTOH, way to meet tons of people, being Ms. Santa?

And yet, I have to move in 6 days. (Cue hysterical laughter.)

Good luck, Teppy!!

Two of my favorites from when Ellie was a baby were Paul Simon's "Born at the Right Time"

Oh, I love that song.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I'm a wee bit proud, and have to share. This week I seem to be on a roll, running wise. I'm able to be faster, and have fewer walk breaks. Last Sunday I completed 4.5 miles in about 60 minutes. Today I completed 5 miles in 62 minutes!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Best of luck with the move, Teppy.

Cass, good news about the noggin of Nephlet. May all bony parts knit quickly and well.

my makeup was sort of Evil Domme Geisha, which was great fun, and went well with the Deep Booming Voice Of Command and general air of Do Not Fuck With Me.

Fay would make an AWEsome Fruma Sarah!

I just had time to peek in before I rush off to a party for my next-door neighbors. Their kids are throwing it, in honor of their 60th wedding anniversary, and his 80th birthday. Such nice people, too.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I'm awake! Cheerios'd. And being COMPLETELY lazy this weekend. Oy. What a head bashing two weeks. Happy all is good and working. So I release the head sized bubble-wrap to thems that need it... speaking of which:

As long as there is a bar near the hotel in Toronto I might be able to avoid climbing a clock tower with a bolt action rifle.
Oh, ND, don't do a bolt action. It slows you down, and you tend to loose the bead on your target during chambering. Go for the semi-auto. Much more carnage, and if those Disney folk are walking in a group, you can pick them off faster before they scatter. Go for the urban hide kit so they can't spot which window your shooting from too fast. Um... I didn't type that. Nope, not me. Must have chatted with bro-in-law too much on that trip.

His leg (three breaks) is in a full cast for at least six weeks.
OK the NYer in me is thinking "cool, he's ok... sounds like he just got college paid for then." Sometimes I hate my NY mentality.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Wow. One of my neighbors just had a 10 minute long screaming orgasm. If I was trying to sleep, I'd be annoyed, but as it is, I'm just kind of impressed.

Go, neighbor lady!

(Note to self: line bedroom in sound-dampening material.)

The status is NOT quo.

Ten minutes?!? Wow.

I'll have what she's having.
