Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I'm back from the football game. We had to leave early because they are cracking down on parking on campus* and Dad didn't leave early enough so we parked some place skeevy and he didn't want to walk back in the dark.

He's got passes to go and park at (actually near) the Civic Center and take the bus over, but even then you have to get there way way early just to get a decent parking. We got back to my house in time to see yet another fumble that lead to us losing the game.

But hockey! maybe Tampa can win.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

My favorite beer was Tommyknocker Maple Nut Brown Ale. Does that seem right to you?

Best.Reference.Ever!

And that does sound like a drink worth tasting.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But not just a job--A JOB AT LUSH!!!
That's not a job, that's a DREAM!

Congratulations.

Man, I just ran out of Lush I bought when SA was here. Now, when I go back to Lush, I will miss SA even more.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey, Hec--do you remember the filename of that Wes/Ethan you sent me that one time?

Heh. Trying to find it for AmyLiz are you?

I. Don't. Know.

Did I post it on the board? You might search Great Write Way for "sandalwood" or "straight razor."

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Just got home from a wedding. Former co-workers who moved back to Ohio decided to get hitched in CA. A nice drive down to San Diego. Here is a pic of the groom. I promised I wouldn't blackmail him with it, but made no promise of not putting it on the web ;) [link]

ION, I haz flowers in my apartment: [link] They insisted I take the lil vase home with me, and I somehow managed to walk it home the block, on crutches, without dropping it. Yay me! They are pretty!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Well, omnis, congratulations to your friends! If he's got such a sense of humor, and hers matches, that bodes well for them, I think. And yay! for pretty flowers.

I'd like to thank whoever it was that posted the link to Poetry 180 [link] . It's helping me regain something I lost.

I remember when poetry, music, art, philosophy were more important than money. I miss that time. But alas, someone had to pay my rent. And the finer things in life turned to dust and ashes in my mouth. It shouldn't be like that. We should be able to hold on to those things. We need to be able to survive without losing that.

Hat trick.

Daniel's snoring is sounding like what I imagine those harmonic seizmic waves that presage volcanic eruption are like.

Not making any comments about what might erupt in the bedroom.
