'Safe'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hey, all.
I am home -- and finally awake! -- from my Thanksgiving with my family. I got sent home with 1/2 a pig (yum) and pie, and a brownie, and inexplixably, 8 juice glasses and two lip glosses.
And I have a new phone! My old one was half-decapiatated for the last 4 weeks, and my mom and dad were up for a new phone, which they didn't want, so they gave it to me. It's very shiny!
Askye, I'm very sorry. I wish you could see your G'ma again.
I had a very very good time dancing tonight. I'm finally catching on a bit better (still can't have a conversation and dance, but I'm screwing up the footwork less). Yay! And i made the right choice, attire-wise--mini jeans skirt, western shirt, fishnets, boots. Tomorrow at the leather daddy contest, tall black boots and new leather corset. I've been promised a shoe polish.
Went (indoor) rock climbing for an hour on the dinner break. Between that, a hot shower, and the delicious veggie lo mein I picked up for dinner, I'm in much better sorts now
Wow. That's way more than I ever get accomplished on a dinner break.
Fay, Cindy sounds like a gift from above. And
She sounds adorable! Though, the first thing I thought of when you talked about her mom was to wonder if mom is depressed--unable to get out of bed, all that.
Clearly ND needs to be working on FAY's Christmas Carol, rather than his own. That would solve many problems.

Well, it was a 3 hour dinner break. Unusually long.
Just got home from the bar. Anybody still on here?
Okay, going to bed. Goodnight, Buffistas.
At airport. Had a lovely time, but I'm SO ready to be home. One of the earbud thingies fell off of my good ear phones, and I don't have any other ones with me. This is gonna be a long day.
GGGRRRRRR. I got up at 5:45 because the plumber was going to come at 6 and do a quick repair (it involved turning off the water, hence the early time to not inconvenience everyone in the bldg.). It is now 6:50 and the shithead is not here!
Bad plumber!
I have sequestered the cats in their carriers. Boxes full of anger and yowling. Poor things are going to be confined for a long time, I have nowhere to let them free until we're done moving.
I have one more load of empty boxes to bring over and I need to get some cash for tips, otherwise I'm in a supervisory capacity the rest of the day.
{{{askye}}} And much, much peace to your mom.
I don't know which is more horrifying, Fay, the fact that that poor boy's mom beat him for misspelling "also," or the fact that she saw nothing wrong with telling you about it. Though I suspect they're two sides of the same vile coin.
yay meara for starting to carve out a social life! You're doing better after a month or so than lots of people (myself most definitely included) can manage after a year.
And, randomly, one more Sesame Street clip: B or not a B?
I'm waiting to hear back from a cousin who lives down in The OC with her new-ish husband whom I haven't yet met but who's up here for the weekend; hopefully we can get together for coffee sometime today and she and Matilda can meet. If that doesn't work out, the day will likely involve a ramble in GG Park, possibly with a carrousel ride and some feeding of the ducks. Aside from that, the day is quite altogether planless, which feels nice.
