Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm sorry for your loss, Cashmere.

Laura, your boys are gorgeous! And I'm in love with this pic [link] So Super Sugar!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Cash! Matilda wore Olivia's green velvet handmedown (sorta dress/onesie) that looked super adorable and festive. I think JZ took her to the grocery store this morning just to collect compliments.

Hey billytea! The current issue of Vanity Fair with Julia Roberts on the cover has a fascinating and horrific article about this plague of rats which hits northeast India every 48 years (when the bamboo blooms, and produces fruit, so the rats have enough food that they don't have to eat their young). It was nature at its wackiest.

Also, Theo will be happy to know that Matilda ripped Julia Roberts in half.

Emmett was a minor butt-head today, but nothing bad enough to ruin the day. We had a talk before bedtime and re-emphasized that holidays are not about Doing What Emmett Wants but rather Doing Stuff Together.

Oh! Vortex, I'd totally eat your pie.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm so sorry, Cash.

I'm sick. Halfway through Thanksgiving dinner, my stomach started really hurting and I had to go lie down. Then (gross font) I threw up. I stayed awake through our traditional playing of Alice's Restaurant and Adam Sandler's Chanukah song (I'm not exactly sure how the latter tradition started, but it's our tradition by now), then went to bed while everyone else was eating dessert. Woke up, hungry. Just ate a banana -- it seemed like the most stomach-friendly of the foods we had available.

Sistah!

I'm in the middle of the VF issue. Enjoyed the article on content and devices and what the future holds. Interesting.

Today was not our best T'giving ever, but it was still a decent day. We got up, watched a couple of Buffys (we watched Hush for H'ween and kept on going - finished S5 today), read, napped, ate dinner (that was not turkey), watched Spirited Away, and now sickie GF is sleeping. I am not yet tired. Tomorrow we have to be up and out of here by 8 as the workmen are coming. I hope GF is feeling a little better since she can't lounge around the house. Poor thing.

Just got back from Plei's inlaws' house. Was very nice, and delish. I have turkey, leftover greenbean casserole, and leftover pie. Mmm, leftovers. Though I may have to go buy a potato and some gravy tomorrow...just to be completist.

And I'm contemplating going to the midnight sales at the outlet mall. How crazy is that? If I don't do it at midnight, I will likely not get there before noon tomorrow. And then it'll be crazy. Hrm....If I actually thought I'd wake up, I'd nap from now til about 2AM, and go around 3....

And in a separate post, condolences to your husband, Cashmere.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

So sorry to hear about your DH's grandmother, Cash.

Music still play. Head pounding. Pronouns are lost. Send alibi.
