Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

BMC?

Bryn Mawr College

I kept trying to make it Baldwin Wallace College, and couldn't get free enough of it to figure out what it really meant.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh! Hee!

No. That was pure Katherine Hepburn as well. I went to NYU.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, you crazy kids.

ChiKat, I hope you're feeling better.

I snuggled the nephew lots today. It was fun. Also, a not-so-super-secret-project just neared completion today, and I am SO excited. I can't wait to share. But, you all have to wait until Friday!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Have you had that thing where they make you walk into a wee cubicle thingy and then you're suddenly blasted with a mysterious puff of air which identifies whether you've ever thought kindly of Islam, or whatever the hell it does?

I had to go through this once, a few years ago. I was working at a summer program, and the last day, I was assigned to accompany two 13-year-olds to the airport so they could fly home. Since they were under 14, I had to walk to the gate with them and wait there until the planes took off. BWI was testing those machines, and I was one of the ones randomly picked to be screened in it. I told them that I'm not actually getting on a plane, just walking some kids to the gate, but they insisted. Getting to the machine meant walking down this long hallway, away from the kids. One of the kids had, several times over the summer, demonstrated an "I don't need supervision -- I'm old enough to go wherever I want to on my own" mindset. I took several minutes to extract promises from both of them that they would wait RIGHT THERE and not move an inch until I got back before I went to get screened.

The CN Tower in Toronto has puffy things. It was kind of cool.

Our wings are not tired

The airport in Indianapolis has them as well. They seem to be rolling them out very slowly.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

flea, I thought I could recognize practically everyone from my 4 years, but I've never placed your pictures as a familiar face. But then, I didn't recognize a lot of my own classmates at my last reunion. Anyway, Anassa Kata!
