A friend gave me a huge Nesco roaster thing. So I'll be dropping a 24 pound bird in it tomorrow. Some sites say to crank it to 450 for 5 hours and other sites say 225-275 for 7-8 hours or something. I don't know which is the better plan. It does seem nice to not use my oven this time around.
Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Baja Fish (by von's) sounds like a good option
I find it so deeply ironic that my kitchen is more filled with food than it has been in...well...ever, and yet I'm eating PB&J for lunch.
ETA: It would be more accurate to say "scarfing" the PB&J. First thing I've eaten today. Oops. About to start making pumpkin pie in T-5 minutes and counting.
Have I eaten at Baja Fish?
wait a second. PB&J? Are you eating our T-day dinner????
Are you eating our T-day dinner????Damn. I really need to think before I post.
Yep, T-Day is ruined for sure. All I've got left is cat food now. Sorry!
Is it at least the Oceanfish cat food?
There's a variety to choose from. I think there's even Turkey & Giblets 9-Lives. Thanksgiving is saved!

BWAH!
The wet cat food can be used as a tuna-fish substitute for tuna salad sandwiches... You've just got to use a lot of mayo. :P
