It's Jilli. I have yet to order anything there, but I do drool.
Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy birthday, Sparky!
GC, it's probably me that talks about the Sock Dreams site. I'm wearing stripey knee socks from them right now (over tights, because it's cold!), and they're wonderful.
Sean, stole her toiletries bag?! I would be incoherent with rage. (Which reminds me, oh crap, need to see what the current stupid rules are for luggage and carry-ons, 'cos we're going to Florida in Jan. There is NO WAY I can live out of a carry-on.)
I bought 4 pair of knee socks from them. Am tempted by some of the thigh high socks even though I don't need them. They just look sexy!
Yay, drugs!
I hope tomorrow is lots better, ChiKat.
And in other Yay Drugs news, [link]
A compound found in cannabis may stop breast cancer spreading throughout the body, US scientists believe.
I came home an hour ago to work on cleaning my house. Haven't done anything yet. Help! Make me get busy. It's that or pretend I've moved when people show up tomorrow.
ooo - thanks to msbelle for the cute clothes that just appeared in my mailbox! Can't wait to try them out!
I'm sorry, Sean. I didn't think they were so odd with the checked stuff.
There's a catalog I get that always reminds me of Jilli, but I can't think of the company name off the top of my head. They sell home accessories (tables, chairs, lamps, rugs, curtains) and it all has a very Victorian feel. Cool stuff.
CG, the thigh-high socks are great, but are not thigh-high if you have, um, chubby thighs. Like me.
Is the catalog that reminds you of me the Victorian Trading Company catalog, by chance?
No, that's not it. It's driving me nuts trying to think of it. It's on the tip of my tongue. They have stuff like baroque looking wallpaper and ornate bedframes and stuff.
Sean I'd contact TSA and the airline about the missing things. This time of year it might not be TSA taking something because of security reasons but outright theft.
The big thing about carry ons and liquids is that you can only have 3 oz containers in a 1 gallon ziploc bag. There's no limit to the containers in the bag but you can't have approximately 3 ozs in a 5 oz container the actual container has to be 3 oz.
As far as I know this includes all kinds of make up, lipsticks, and any kind of liquid food products -- including jams and jellies. Solid stuff is fine -- crackers, sandwiches, etc. I've seen someone have to dump out a bunch of homemade jams because they tried to carry them on.
