Thanks, y'all. I'm gonna try heading for bed and see what happens.
Ginger, get out of your truck! Erm, well, you know, after you stop and turn it off.
'Life of the Party'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Thanks, y'all. I'm gonna try heading for bed and see what happens.

I should be...um...anything...really...anything...but sitting here in a theatre dealing with cranky old actors on this damned Christmas show.
I spent the last two hours cleaning and reorganizing the kitchen. I is tired. Hungry, too.
I had sushi for dinner. That portion of the evening was yummy.
I had sushi for brunch! And it was yummy! (Although I was in danger of eating a small child by that point, so my powers of discrimination maybe weren't all that great. Note to self - don't skip breakfast!)
I'm sitting in my living room, having just put chocolate cupcakes into my new oven, that I made with my new kitchenaid mixer. Life is good.
I'm proud of myself. Today at work, I made a pumpkin pie for the first time. This was while I was running the shift by myself. Made it from a pumpkin that the clients had drawn faces on for Hallowe'en. Actually, it made two pies and then there was some goop leftover, so I put that in a saucepan on low and stirred it until it got all thick and yummy (the house manager there has a gluten allergy, so it will be nice for her. It was touch and go for a while with the pies, because I didn't have the directions for processing the fresh pumpkin there, only a recipe for pie from canned pumpkin. I guess it is a good thing that I read up on the subject when we were discussing it with Jars. It is true, that pie made from fresh pumpkin does not feel or taste the same as canned. It is also true that it definitely tastes better. Even if it feels weird.
So. Tired.
I've finished all of the Thanksgiving grocery shopping, put away all the groceries, unpacked the new serving bowls, cleaned and reorganized the kitchen, washed the dishes, unpacked the new food processor and slow cooker, assembled them, and broke down all the cardboard boxes.
Then I ate a bowl of cereal for dinner.
I'm awake (hungry pregnant woman in the middle of the night), but I wanted to check in and see if Sean and S made it to Houston.
I've been trying to fall asleep by remembering various Thanksgivings over the year. So far, no luck with the sleep but lots of fun memories.
Poor awake pregnant lady!
I'm so glad S&S got to Houston, though the selfish part of me is bummed that I won't get the pleasure of their company for Thanksgiving. Although, hmm...I only bought a 14 lb. bird, and with Sean's appetite...maybe it's for the best.
I know I missed a ton in thread today. Hugs and hairpats and squees and smitings to all! I'll threadsuck and catch up tomorrow.
