I just tried to type up some advice, then realized that knitting advice is absolutely useless in text. (Also, my grandmother taught me to knit when I was a kid. She was from Germany, so she taught me the Continental method, which looks totally weird to anyone using the other method. So it would probably leave you more confused, anyway.)

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I crochet, because knitting involves too much counting, but when I have knit, I've always used the instructions on Martha Stewart Living. [link]
Heh, doesn't help that i'm left handed and taught myself how to knit from a rather confusing books, so it's more like "Oh, that seems to work, let's keep doing that." i'll try to dig out that book :)

My universe is made of gronk. It is far to early to have already been up for more than an hour. At least I'm almost to the airport.
I'm awake. This is not how I wanted to start my morning.
9pm in Bangkok, and I am beat.
I am also, it transpires, in the Bangkok Post.
Anyone want to come see me in a cheesy festive play? Bangkok F2F? Free accommodation provided? En suite Egyptian Cat? Private pool? Gym? Sauna?

Suzi, I'm glad everything went well with your mom's surgery.
No knitting or crocheting advice. It's too early. Well, I know it's really not, but it feels that way.
Oh, Fay that's so cool! Go you!
