Hey, Aims, what ever happened with that tenant that refused to let your people in without something like 30 days notice?

Thrive to spite them

Unfortunately a lot of fruit juices have HFCS in them as well and you have to watch out for that.

I'm having a semi shitty day. There's some situation that I'm not privy to that needs to be resolved and for whatever reason no one in my office has been phoning the people invovled, there was some delay on our end and instead of saying that they've just been waiting until it's resolved to call these people.

Except these people have been calling almost every day and getting really mad and make threats about what they are going to do and usually when they call the people who need to talk to them are out of the office or in a meeting. It sounds like I've been blowing them off but I'm not.

Today someone else called from the company and started yelling at me and accusing me of giving them the run around and I tried to explain we had a power outage and people were dealing with that, but the guy kept yelling and telling me he woud stay on hold but he wouldn't hang up and threatening to get a lawyer to call if he did hang up. Finally I went and got my Big Boss who wasn't happy about being interupted and just wanted me to tell this guy to hang up, but he would take that. Finally she talked to him and it's resolved.

I feel like if someone on our end had returned one of these phone calls a few days ago to explain the delay things wouldn't have escalated. But, no one else was dealing with these phone calls. Just me. They called 3 times yesterday and were almost yelling. It's a very upsetting position to be put in. And I've been trying to be as honest as possible, without being too honest but all that did was have the company stop just short of calling me a liar.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Also, the dark syrup colas (pepsi, coke, Dr. Pepper) and so on contain phosphoric acid - which is a calcium robber, and can cause long term damage to teeth and stomach over and above that caused by sugars. A lot of the citrus flavored sodas do not have phosphoric acid, so it depends on what soda the fruit juice is replacing whether that is a consideration.

Lately I've been mixing a bit of 100% fruit juice with a lot of fizzy water, and it is muy tasty.

yeah, I do this a lot. I find most fruit juice too sweet anyway. I also sometime cut coke with lime flavored fizzy water. It is also yummy.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I have to admit, I drink way more Coke and Dr Pepper than I should. Because they taste good, and I don't like coffee (or really, any hot drink for actual thirst-quenching--I'll drink hot chocolate or mulled cider for taste), so I have to get my caffeine somewhere.
