[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nah, just my couch. I have the TV on, and it looks like the heaviest part of the storm has already moved through my 'hood, and the sirens are just for the lightning storm.
I *do* have my purse (with wallet, cell phone, etc.) by the door, with gym shoes and socks, and my laptop bag open and ready, (and peanut butter crackers), in case I'd have to run downstairs.
But it's gone through pretty quickly, it seems, so I'm going to just watch the weather people on TV for another few minutes and then go to bed.
t edit And the sirens are already off. Now I can't even hear the rain. Definitely bedtime.
Whew.
free booze! Did I ever tell you how much I love you, ND?

{{{Suzi}}} glad that the travel plan fiasco is getting settled without blood shed. Also, I'm happy for you that you can see the light at the end of the tunnel clearly enough to see it is not a train.
IOfoodN I made corn chowder from scratch today at work. My hand to gawd, I'll never bother touching another canned chowder again. Not difficult, but Whoa, Nelly! what a difference homemade makes.
mmm corn chowder. I'm having wine & pretzels for dinner.
This work thing just gets funnier and funnier. Looks like I will have another SFX training class to teach in January sometime. It's gonna be really tough. The request is for a class in Bermuda.
Oh the humanity!
Yeah, I know, Bermuda in January. Then I have to spend half of February and half of March on a cruise ship. I'm not sure I'm going to survive.
