I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Cass, if the futon continues to attack, threaten it with FIRE.

I think the day has long passed that anything in Cass's house can be scared by fire. It would have expired from terror long ago.

The dog must be feeling more at home. He stole a shoe.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, if the futon continues to attack, threaten it with FIRE.
Hey...
I think the day has long passed that anything in Cass's house can be scared by fire. It would have expired from terror long ago.
Hey!! Hey that's ... really rather accurate, actually.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The dog must be feeling more at home. He stole a shoe.

Good boy! (Well, at least for the moment.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Why would he put something like this on something he knew you'd see? asshole.

My hunch is, if it was really that bad, he wouldn't have. Is it possible he wasn't really meaning it to be so taken to heart?

Yeah, I don't think he thought for a second it would get to me. At the time I knew it was bad, but I figured that in retrospect-especially since we're pretty good friends now-it wouldn't look as bad.

I think I'm just stunned at having hurt someone so badly when I try very hard not to-and I remember trying to be as kind an honest as I could at the time.

I think the day has long passed that anything in Cass's house can be scared by fire. It would have expired from terror long ago.

True dat.

I just had a working lunch. This had better mean I'm getting off early.

Punishingly Intricate

Yeah, I don't think he thought for a second it would get to me.

still...it just seems mean-spirited to me. What was the point of mentioning it at all if he knew you'd see it and you guys are friends?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Probably just saw it as a fact. Like how I bring up with L her insane post-it note thing from when we lived together. It's something that happened between us, but we've moved past it and even laugh about it now.

Now, if I knew she had a thing, where she'd never wanted to be an insane post-it lady, I would never mention it.

yeah, exactly.

I'm just in a mood today so am taking it way personally even though it's none o' my beeswax.

Gelato has helped my mood somewhat.

But, dang, does my jaw hurt right now.

Librarian Warlord

Dear Student:

That database is only available to subscribers for an insane amount of money. The professor who told you the librarians could help you get the documents you want from that database was wrong. We are not going to subscribe just because you "have to" write a paper, and I'm not going to call them back and beg. It's your damn paper. You want to be a lawyer? Plead your own damn case with them or pick another topic.

Signed, Why the H3LL did I sign up for this gig, again?
