I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Maybe I need the bubble wrap I'm always trying to push off onto you.
Stands to reason...

Um...

Dude, I can't be every beaten Buffista.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

But you do it so well

Hey. New board.

Tonight was kind of a celebrity-centric night for me. Saw Pygmalion with Claire Danes (really liked it, Jefferson Mays is brilliantly childish as Higgins, and Danes really pulls off Eliza), and then walked right past her as she collected cash for Broadway Cares: Equity Fights Aids. She seemed very pretty, though wearing stage makeup and a wig so who can really tell anyway? Definitely tiny, though - 5'3" max and EXTREMELY thin, which really puts in perspective how small most actors are. Very smiley and polite, though, as she collected for charity. I dug her, but didn't talk to her at all.

Then, saw Ethan Hawke at the very theater-y bar I always go to after my Friday shows. He was there for some special dinner thing, probably related to the new show he directed. He had a group of people around him and was talking very animatedly about... something. Which I think is his thing - I've seen him around, as he's definitely been theater-centric over the last year, and that's always the case. I get the feeling he's a little narcissistic, but also ridiculously smart. I think he'd be fun to talk to.

Then, my favorite Elphaba ever, Kristy Cates was at The After Party for the umpteenth time, and we actually talked a bit! She agreed to come talk at my school. Which is awesome.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

As i was getting out of the shower last night, i opened the bathroom door to find my antisocial cat (who desperately wants the world to believe that he hates all humans and only uses me for food) waiting on the other side. As soon as i looked at him, he stared me straight in the eye and mewed plaintively. Twice. I don't know if he was relieved that i survived the shower, or worried that the shower somehow meant i would never feed him again, but the evident concern seemed awfully sweet at the time. He isn't usually very chatty. Maybe he does love me after all?

Then tonight he jumped up on my desk, aimed his ass right at me and farted in my face.

What have i been nurturing?

Hee. Cats are like that.

I'm sorry. He really is your dad."

Heh. My mom says "I'm sorry. He was a democrat when I married him?"

I did not get any kissing tonight. BOO. I'm not even sure if I got anything that promises future kissing. BOO. There were moments, but...sigh. Damnit! I did have an awesome time two-stepping, though.

I'm awake. My body is really confused what time zone it is.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Sox, backflung. Also, if the answer to 1 is too far away, lemme know. I could possibly move it to tomorrow, too.
