You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Mostly lurking...

My mom took me shopping today. Our favorite clothing store (which typically has wicked sales anyways) had a 40% off everything sale--and that meant 40% off the already marked down stuff (shorts for $4! Pants for $4.50! Craziness!). I made off like a BANDIT! It was awesome. And, because I got an absolutely gorgeous red leather jacket for $35, I felt I needed boots that matched. Crazy fun!

Sean, your bowtie-wearing cat makes me incredibly happy.

Also! Tonight is going to be GAME night up here. You and S. are welcome to join. We're going to play Settlers of Catan, Scrabble, and possibly BT's crazy bean card game. Oh, and maybe Munchkin.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

From the article GC linked to:

However, why individuals help strangers in these electronic networks is not well understood: there is no immediate benefit to the contributor, and free-riders are able to acquire the same knowledge as everyone else.

Dudes, what you mean, no immediate benefit? Explaining things makes me feel important. The chance to feel important is a pretty dang good benefit, IMO.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I just got done with a fantabulous lunch/shopping outing for my sister's birthday. I might need a nap. What time are people planning to arrive?
