Buffy: How was school today? Dawn: The usual. A big square building filled with boredom and despair. Buffy: Just how I remember it.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Dude. You're a library website. Why won't you tell me the library hours?

Why won't you tell me the library hours?

People actually *go* to the library?

But I don't consider that poly, I consider that having close friends. In my head, poly = having multiple close, loving, sexual relationships.

Yeah, that's where the definition of poly gets wonkified in my head, also. There are men and women that I love and have close relationships with outside of Joe.

Well, I can't figure out another way of getting the physical book. If only they could shove it through the Internet...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

People actually *go* to the library?

Yes, when they need to find some books for a report on Stalin.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oh, and in entirely random adorable kids stuff -- one of my classmates has an eight-year-old son. Yesterday, the son went to the school nurse because he had some sort of rash on his hands. The nurse called his mother and said that she had to come pick him up, because he could not be in school with a rash. Of course, by the time she got there, the rash was almost entirely gone, but the nurse insisted that he couldn't stay in school. So, his mother brought him to the university with her, because she had some meetings to attend and a class to teach. While she was teaching, she had him sit at a desk at the back of the room, and gave him some paper and a pencil to draw with. Instead of drawing, he took notes. Copied down all the calculus stuff that his mother was writing on the board. So she's now got several pages of calculus in eight-year-old's handwriting taped to the wall behind her desk. It's so cute.
