Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jars, clearly you should be spending the day on the couch with your feet up, popping bubblewrap.

Oh dear sweet Jesus yes. If you'd care to email that to my boss, I'd be much obliged.

Maybe I'm taking all the clumsy for all the bitches today, and no one else will fall over or cut themselves.

Trust my rage

Not to gloat, but I got 9.5 hours of sleep last night. It was glorious - I think I woke up just once. And, Ellie seems to be night weaned which is even more amazing. After yesterday, I really needed all that sleep.

And now the zooarchaeologist is boiling bones in the room next to mine and it reeks.

That sounds glorious, Stephanie. Well done you.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Never complaining about random smells in the office again.

Librarian Warlord

So cool! (at least it sounds like it from where I'm sitting, surrounded by librarians and law students)

Stephanie, I'm so glad to hear that your DH is okay and that you got so much sleep!

We close on our house tomorrow. Meep!

I remember that smell from high school biology.

I can't complain, really, having processed cesspit samples in the past. Mmm, four-hundred year-old poop, still fresh as a daisy.

And now I'm going to get myself a mince pie.

Mostly lurking...

Suzi, hope your day keeps going well!

Jars, um, ick.

sj, interesting. Is that everywhere, or just in Boston? Although, a Taco Bell taco is the last thing I want today.

So, I finally just heard back from the prof who forgot to leave the sign-up sheet for me. There was one appointment--the girl that canceled. So, I could have slept for a few hours. Oh, well. Maybe I'll shut the office door and take a little nap in here.

I am pretty sure it is nationwide. Are you feeling any better?
