'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Just needed to be said again.
Hiya, Bitches! I have had a long week, so I decided this weekend needed to be sloungy.
Last week was the show and end of quarter, so I was late at school every day either doing the show or grading. Kristin, I feel your pain and am so glad I'm not an English teacher anymore. That grading is just endless. Mine is much better now and in fact, I got my quarter grades in on Friday even though they're not due until 3:30 tomorrow.
In addition to that stuff, I got a new batch of 6th graders on Monday (they cycle through every 7 weeks or so) and I get a new batch of 7th and 8th graders tomorrow (they cycle through every quarter). So, I've been getting stuff ready for New Students.
I laid about yesterday and didn't do squat. Today, I got my hair done. My hairdresser came here, so I made him soup for lunch.
Thanks for the shoulders, loves!
Okay, onwards. I have eight comments left...so close! Also, can someone explain why I have "The Best of White Lion" on iTunes?

I love teaching so much, but I really hate the English grading hours. This weekend wasn't about grading though--I'd be in the same boat no matter what I taught, I think.
Go, Kristin! You're really pushing through those!
Ok...killing material...Like father, like son: [link]
The narrative comments are what takes so much time. We don't do those at my school. We have progress codes that we can input with the grades, but they are easy to do. I have a list of about 100 codes that reflect different things and I can input up to 5 codes for each student. And, the codes are not required.
What ends up taking so much time for me is that I teach 6 classes plus an advisory period. We get ONE plan period and mine is the first period of the day. Which really sucks. I have plan and then teach straight through from 9:44 to 3:30. I'm exhausted by the end of the day and still need to grade and make copies, etc. for the next day. And, that's assuming I don't have rehearsal after school.

You know, if you skim and zip past the way I did, you might think for a moment that ChiKat got laid yesterday. And did her hairdresser.
Ahem.
I have to make vegetarian sausage gravy & biscuits for The Boy now.

Steph's version of my weekend is much more interesting than the actual thing.
Steph! Is it almost magic beer time again? What is the magic beer really called?
????
Your nephew is quite the cutie, vw!
More deadly cuteness!
I made myself a truly unhealthy dinner: grilled ham & cheese and tomato soup.
