Ugh. I went to a Halloween party last night. I'd forgotten how much I hate tequila. The headache is gone, but I feel pretty blah still. I'll feel better once I get some more water in me.

Problem is that I am working in every room at the same time so I can't point to one spot and say - clean! Still a disaster area. I think moving would be easier.

Wait, what is Laura doing in my house? Actually, the saddest thing is Laura is in my house and I can't find her.

My cold is worse. and going the wrong way - toward my lungs. bah.

at least you have an excuse for the headache. I woke up with one with no booze in the system.

ion. I was hoping to have a social gathering with cute&cool gal in graphics tonight. Alas, she just texted with "hey i am not feeling so hot today can we rain check" :( Dang it. We go into tech this week, and right after that is my trip to FLA. And is it wrong to think "I hope she really is feeling bad and not blowing me off"? It seems so. I like her, why would I want her to feel icky? UGGggggg.

I was sad I was missing my brother's annual Halloween bash until I found out my sister's husband went as an infant. Not enough tequila in the world for me to handle that sight.

Got to say that I'm a little jealous of you Halloween party-goers. ND works straight through Halloween, so no parties for us. I'm glad I didn't have any tequilla, though. Just a whole lot of Halloween candy.

short memory

I did go to a Halloween party last night. It was fun, but I had to observe the bad behavior, instead of participating. I did dance, but not with my usual vigor and abandon.

If and when S and I ever get around to throwing a party, you'll be top of the invite list, Kristin, and we'll invite you directly.

Okay, I was being hyperbolic. Generally speaking, I don't get invited to parties except through ND. Not a big deal; just an observation.

We have a few of parties in the neighbohood that are every year and are very much open house sort of events. there is the holloween party the Saturday before Holloween. they alway hire an impersonator to be someone - last yr it was Austin Powers - this year ( same guy) Pee Wee Herman. Somehow he was much funnier as pee wee.

The other big party is the potato party - which takes place somewhere close to St patrick's . The host and hostess do the corned beef,everyone else brings the potatoes. Limericks are encouraged. this year was interesting - because someone that has been coming to the potato party for years - has a restaurant in town now-and wanted the potato party moved .

The other party like this is the big night before the antique faire party. It has to end promptly at midnight so those that volunteer for the over night shift can be there more or less on time.
