I'm back from teh play. The lead was super super hot (and very lucky--how many trannyboys are blessed to be 5'10 with no hips and hardly any boobs, naturally? Advantage, much?), but OMG, would've had to have the ballgag ready to take him to bed. Gah. The show was mildly amusing, but not that good. Ah well.
If I'd been brave, I would've stuck around after, chatted him up, chatted to the author who was there (who was the keynote speaker at our dragking conference last weekend, and is just visiting town). But I had used all my bravery going to a play by myself, so I left right after the show and did not bravely go hang by myself at the nearby dyke bar, or anything.
Amusing moment, though, on how much things have changed: I was sitting in the audience, looking around thinking how weird it was to not know anyone. And then the person next to me said to his girlfriend "I think I know like, 90% of the people in here, or at least see them around all the time". Heh.

I'm with you on the "ooo shiny" syndrome that is iPhone! For instance. I just spent about an hour digging through pictures on my computer and in MySpace to load up in my address book, so when folks call, I see pretty picture! Ya, I'm a geek!.

Yeah, I got your texts, omnis. Thanks. There's almost too much shiny on the iPhone. It's hard to pick which bit to play with next.
Also, no bandwidth problems with the Survivor episode. I bought it off itunes and downloaded it to the home computer. The real issue is storage space.

I've actually been surprisingly satisfied with the 8 GB of storage on the iphone. I can put a reasonable amount of music on it and have more than enough video for a cross country flight on it.
