I've been zombified all week. Haven't gotten shit done. I'm just wandering around and staring. I've informed my boss that I'm zombified and she's getting a part-timer to do some of my work for me. (No, really. My boss is insane, but she likes me.)

Oh, now I want pumpkin butter made with brown sugar. I've never even had pumpkin butter before.

At least in this morning's exchange we were almost as far as two people can get from one another in the house. The other night we were sitting in the same room and IM'ing.

That reminded K-Bug of the first time I hauled her to Lee's place. I blank on who was visiting, but there were a few laptops in operation, so folks were posting to the board, IM'ing eachother, and chatting with eachother. She still finds this odd. Silly girl.

Much ~ma to Zenkitty and Zenkitty mom. Also ~ma to Jars and Greg. Hope it's just some sort of flukey thing. For both, I'm hoping that the panicky bark is worse than the diagnosis bite.

Also, because I've been thinking of them, continued ~ma to NoiseDesign's folks and to d's dad. Have also been thinking about Beverly and her family. Hugs to you all.

ION, we finally have a TiVo, a wireless router, and a Wii. I feel so goddamned consumerist it makes me laugh nervously. However, the web surfing in the living room really makes all other financial and consumerist dilemmas sort of melt away. Heh.

Also, we went to a homebrew club meeting last night and it was fun. We met a whole bunch of beer geeks and Tom's beers were enthusiastically received. (his Session-strength Saison in particular.) I don't know what was more stressful for him- meeting a lot of new people at once or having people say nice things about his beer. He did great though, I'm really proud of him. He didn't even take an Ativan! (he forgot them at home)

Nora, that sounds so fun! I remember you telling me about that...that you were thinking about going. So fun!

I need some resume advice. I'm updating my resume...and I'm making a copy that includes everything, but I want to do one more specialized for transcription. Should I include the little jobs I've had over the last few years, or just the more "big" jobs that included transcription work?
