Okay, that's what I thought. I mean, plenty of other charges the guy would have been ripe for, but manslaughter didn't sound right to me.

Fanwank: his lawyer settled for manslaughter in the plea deal. I know of at least one RL case of a guy who pleaded manslaughter in a drug deal gone wrong. He could have gotten self-defense, but they had him dead right on the drug dealing part of the crime. That would have had a longer sentence than manslaughter. Not the same situation here, but they might have dropped some of medical specific charges in return for the manslaughter plea. That would have given him slightly more employment options when he finished his sentence. His doctors license is done, but if he is not convicted of malpractice or medical fraud, he might be able to work in some medical capacity in the future.
Good wank, Typo. I like it.
Did anyone watch Broadchurch last night on BBCA? I DVRd it, but haven't gotten to it yet.
I've seen the whole thing. I enjoyed it. The female lead is especially excellent.
I saw the whole thing as well and while I don't think I share Dana's response, I thought it was very well done. I didn't enjoy it, I thought it was incredibly depressing.
Oh, it's totally depressing.
I've been watching Broadchurch and I have two episodes left.
I take it you all have been aheming it?
t cough Why, I have no idea what you mean.
