The one I have is, I guess, the third Nikki Heat novel? The author's portrait and bio are amusing.
And now I'm caught up:
And how fun was last night's episode? Gates the fan-gurl, Ryan the rooster, Beckett throwing a table...
So fun!
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

That was part of the ...
Esplaney!!!!!!eleventy!!
(echoing the !!!!! love over here.)
Last night's Elementary killed me dead. DEAD, I tell you. That conversation at Bell's place where Sherlock asks Joan to stay on permanently made me so happy, I actually teared up a little. "I am better with you, Watson." His face! Her face! The uncertainty and the hope in his voice! Holy crap, Johnny Lee Miller is a good actor.
It was great getting more depth into Bell. Although I was mostly wading in the shallow end of the pool, 'cause wow, that actor is ripped. Tiny, but ripped. That grey V-neck sweater he was wearing (I don't think we've ever seen Bell out of suits) was doing all kinds of awesome things to his chest and arms.
Dang it, we didn't watch it last night. iTunes for me!

Serious. The actor playing his brother was the short one on Breakout Kings; next to Bell, downright tall-looking.
But those were definitely good shoulders to have.

Mercy me. This was my exact reaction.
He's come a long way from one of my very favorite movie lines ever..."Never. Fuck. With an antiques dealer."
Hey, it's Slim Charles! (Just catching up on Elementary.)
