I think the plan always was to hand over the money for a matter of minutes (hours at the outside). It was phrased as a loan, and I think he's still on the hook.
Your point is very convincing, especially the part I did not quote. That leads to me a speculation: we won't meet Daddy directly. Instead brother Mycroft will be Daddy's messenger for errands Sherlock does for Daddy, the way canon Mycroft was the messenger for the 19th century British empire. Alternatively, Mycroft is not Sherlock's brother but his Daddy. But I'm betting on the former, not the latter.
I am just watching it now. That made me sit up and take notice! Alas, the character is not nearly as charming as our Tom Scola.
Certainly not nearly so nice a smile.
My dad picked up one of the Castle tie-in novels on a B&N bargain table somewhere in his recent travels, and said it got more gripping as it went on, to the point where he was up too late on Sunday finishing it. So now I have that on my large and ever-growing To Be Read pile.
I didn't even know they watch the show, so that was a nice surprise.
My mom was that way with the 2nd book. She had adventurous dreams that night. I found the 3rd book to be pretty intense.
And how fun was last night's episode? Gates the fan-gurl, Ryan the rooster, Beckett throwing a table...
Zero Hour is trash, y'all.
I'll be interested to see other reactions, but I did not like it.
And Gina Torres!
Indeed! Although all those stories about a Firefly reunion on Castle totally overlooked the 24 connection. I mean after all, she did shoot Mrs Palmer!
Good trash or bad trash? ' cuz I sometimes like me some trash.
I haven't gotten to this week's Castle yet, but now I'll watch it just as soon as I finish Downton.
sj, I think it will be broadcast thursday. I think it might be up on hulu now?
t, I don't think it is good trash. because that is the kind of show I can get behind. I found the pilot kind of boring and worse? except for anthony edwards, every other person is the worst actor this side of a SyFy movie.
