Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Okay, I am watching Bones, and that trick with the plane would not fly (pun entirely intended)

Also, it takes at least several weeks for bone damage to show up from bone infection.

See, these particular technicalities got past me (okay, I wondered a bit about the infection), but I'm just getting so irritated by the increasingly dumbass interactions between Booth and Bones (Angela and Hodgins to a lesser degree) - I finally figured out what it was reminding me of - it's like they got awards-show writers to write all the "personal" dialogue - awkward segues, stilted dialogue. I still love the show...but I kinda don't remember why. Or maybe that's it - I remember loving it and I'm hanging with it on the basis of our past...

I picked up the show about two minutes in and was mystified as to why every other sentence out of Brennan's mouth started with "When "I'm president....". Turns out there was no real plot point, it was just the writers' McGuffin of the week. Then I saw the preview for the next new episode, where she has apparently decided to show approval by slapping all her male interns on the ass. Who is this woman? Who are the writers?

Can somebody PLEASE send a memo to the casting people on CSI - if there's ONE actor that we REALLY recognize, we KNOW who the killer is! Can we either hire some Fake-out Knowns or give some more Unknowns some work?

Signed, Not entirely sure why I bothered to finish the episode, when I knew Arye Gross did it, pretty much the second he appeared on my TV.

I feel you ET. There are some legendary character actors who always play evil, so you know what's up right away.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

One of the things I really appreciated about _Southland_ was the realism of the forensic backlogs and the resulting frustration of detectives with lab techs.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

That was cute. Quote from Waking the Dead:

"Are you busy?"
"I've got seven corpses to examine."
"And a penguin."

I finally gave myself permission to stop watching CSI.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had not watched L&O:UK past Bamber getting shot...

I've been thinking all this time he recovered and was skipping gaily through the flowers in the meadow.

Oh.

Oh.

The Elementary people too. This last episode the murderer was way too obvious.
