They played the "we must be a secret!" game with Esposito and the doctor, and everyone knew anyway. That was fun.

Yeah, I like the way they handled that. And the break-up.

NCIS: That felt anti-climatic.

Word.

I like how Jimmy's rising to the occasion, though. And next week looks like the ep where the personal fallout of it all gets dealt with. So that may be more interesting.

I like shows where people who like and trust each other but who squabble occasionally deal with difficult things. Having the drama coming from interpersonal angst does not appeal to me. It sends things into soap opera territory for me, and feels like the writers are going, "Huh, I'm running out of ideas--I know, those two people will have an affair and it will end badly and they can be sexy and angry at each other all the time, even though they've been working together happily for years!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why is NCIS shooting through a Vaselined lens? Does Mark Harmon have a rider in his contract? Or is it Michael Weatherly's doing?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

But he totally failed! I really wanted Jimmy to rise to the occasion, but Ducky had to come back and save the day. Jimmy should have looked closer, and Abby should totally know better. Also, a villain who has gone through all of that trouble to fake his death only to commit suicide by cop? Lame.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I tried NCIS and just couldn't care. I'm having a real problem caring enough about NCIS: LA to see if I set up a series recording or just this ep. They seem to want bigger and bigger stories but I'm into the show for the characters.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Though still - Cary Elwes as a hallucination! So awesome!

Where can I sign up for that kind ofmbrain disfunction?

There was a lot to like in Castle, but I do not understand keeping the relationship secret.

If that were my mother, I would want to settle in dwith the relationship just a bit before putting it out there for her, too. It makes sense to me to not tell everyone the very first day. I just hope they do not plan to drag out the secrecy irrationally long. Well, maybe hold it back from Gates for a while....

Paget Brewster and Adam Baldwin with both in last night's Law & Order SVU.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Well, maybe hold it back from Gates for a while....

I predict that Gates will try to put a stop to his shadowing Beckett when she finds out.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Elementary premiers tonight. The AVClub review makes it sound promising: [link]

I intend to watch it. I'll give any Holmes show one try.
