Why do they keep trying to make JLM happen? He isn't that good.

I love him! I've liked him quite a lot in all the appearances I've seen him in in the past five or so years. He's definitely better than a number of people with regular gigs.
However--the idea that they can carve out a good Sherlock niche with the English version and the movie franchise still extant...sometimes it's not riding the wave, but diving in where there's the most competition.
oh ita.
you love him?
(disappointed)
I think he's a cutie pie, and I liked his turn in the Emma miniseries, plus what I saw of him on Dexter (didn't watch regularly). I thought he was the best thing about Hackers, and I thought he was pretty damned good against some stiff competition in Endgame.
Where does he fail you?
I like him too. I really liked Eli Stone. I wish it had stayed on the air.
Eli Stone. I thought the show was cute, but I thought he was the worst thing about the show. I'm not sure he was in Dexter enough for him to make a mark on me.
I really love JLM too. But I also really love SH, and I don't really see Jonny being successful filling that deerstalker.
anyone watch Castle?
yes. I am a little annoyed at the stupid. Side note, you generally cant open the back doors on a police car from the inside.

Normally there aren't even handles.
