He was also in The Sarah Connor Chronicles as a terminator.

As a matter of fact, I got so used to him playing bad guys, seeing him in Raising Hope initially gave me massive tonal dissonance.
That made me enjoy him even more in Raising Hope, somehow. And I didn't realize that was him in either role in Deadwood. Huh.
He also was one of (I think) two men who played Sam's ex-husband on er.
That made me enjoy him even more in Raising Hope, somehow.
Also, what sumi said. He's played psychos for a while, so I love seeing him let loose with the goofy on Raising Hope.
A lot of psychos, plus Jesus that one time!
He was also in The Sarah Connor Chronicles as a terminator.
Gah, I loved him on that show. He played triple roles in that -- the hapless actor who got killed, the terminator, and John Henry. He's a terrific actor, and super-versatile.
I loved him as John Henry. Which perhaps says odd things about me but he was just brilliant in that role.
He's got a rather pleasant singing voice, doesn't he?
I loved him as John Henry.
Nothing odd about that. He was fantastic as John Henry. I mean, I loved Sarah and John and Cameron, but John Henry's scenes with Ellison, Weaver, and Savannah were perhaps the ones that fascinated me the most. *sniff* I miss that show.
I really want to rewatch that show. Sadly it's not on Netflix Instant.
He's had quite the career. I just watched Winter's Bone last week, and there he is again.
He played the quadripalegic unsub in the S4 finale of Criminal Minds--really creepy!!
