Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The local ABC ads say Monday's Castle should be airing late-night (ie, Tuesday morning), but no.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Jesse, my DVR has it early Weds. at 1:07 am. The extra day seems weird even with the game on Monday.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Phew! I have it too. CRISIS AVERTED.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Even though it's spelled "chiaroscuro," it doesn't mean that it's pronounced the way you think it is. In Italian, a "c" that doesn't have an "e" or an "i" following it is pronounced like a "k."

The fancy $50,000 per year prep school would have most certainly had a teacher that knows how to pronounce it correctly.

I hate it. That pulled me completely out of the show.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have realized two things. One: I don't know how to pronounce that word. Two: I don't know what show we are watching.

Whoops. Sorry. It's Castle.

Pronounced "key-AH-ro-SKOO-ro" with both "r's" trilled. The syllables aren't distinct either; it's like sliding from one to another without as much defintion as there would be in English. The emphasis on the second and fourth syllables isn't nearly as heavy either.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Castle

Another thing that pulls me out of the show is Kate's permanent mascara.

Oh, puh-lease. Really Beckett? A thigh holster with high-heeled boots? And why the hell isn't she wearing a fucking vest?

Such a damned shame. Emotionally, this is a hell of an episode.

Completely out of it now. Ugh.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

NBC shutting down Prime Suspect.

Bummer. I've been liking that show.

Cass, you made me giggle.

I didn't expect Beckett to answer that last question from the therapist. It seems we have some character development to look forward to.

Beckett is always in ridiculous heels. I wondered about the vest, too. I guess it would've made showing off the scar too awkward.

Art Crawl!!!

Matt: I didn't get what she was saying either. . . and Caravaggio is definitely baroque not Renaissance and I cannot believe that you could use chiaroscuro as a means of iding a painting in that fashion.
