You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

H50 - don't like the new girl.

Me neither. I find her line delivery weird. I'm trying to be open minded, though.

I gotta admit, I loved her "how long have you been married" dig, that was awesome. Otherwise, I'm kinda meh on her. I don't like the fact the new governor is such a dick, it's bringing too much real life into my fantasy. I like 5-0 because it is unrealistic, because it's fun to see just how whacked out Steve can get in order to accomplish his objectives and leads to all kinds of carguements with Danny that just feed my slashy little heart.

And I am dying of curiosity as to what is going on with Jenna and her "fiance". Is he still alive? Is it just an excuse for her to get the hell out of there and go work for Wo Fat? I'm much more invested in her than I am this new woman.

I'm assuming that it's Wo Fat who told her her fiance's alive (and he has him, most likely) and that's why she's been helping him.

I kinda like the new governor, I'm interested in seeing where this 5-0 has to follow the rules thing goes.

That's what I was thinking.

The new character is, well, very stunning, but I did not love her performance. She also has extremely long eyebrows (not the individual hairs, just the whole line. Long). It must be the way they're groomed. Lots of people on TV have big eyes, it's a lot of territory to cover, sure, but they were really, really long.

I don't think that he's a dick, I think that he's just not going to take Steve's shit. Which I wouldn't either. Unless he were naked. And then I would take anything he offered.

Heh. I am is one with Vorex on all counts there.

“Not dead yet!”

Add me to the Steve can do anything if he's naked trifecta.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Last night's NCIS was entertaining. The baddie was Reid's dad--I knew it was him as soon as I heard his voice (I've been rewatching "Revelations" waaaaaay too much). Liked the Tony-as-bully backstory, and the twist at the end was really nicely handled (his desire to share it with McGee, especially).

I enjoyed that a lot, too. I think we get to see Tony acting in more mature situations so rarely, it was a treat to have him admit his culpability--both ways.
