Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

I just got caught up on the new-to-the-USA L&O:UK eps I had on my dvr last night. New "Order" cast members are fun, although I will miss Ben Cross (loved his James Steel). I had no idea that Peter Davison would be the new head lawyer; now they have two Doctor Who alums on that side!

As soon as I saw the mum screaming for her missing kid in this week's ep, I was wondering, "Is this the kid-in-the-incinerator ep?" Sure enough, it was. The original L&O version was fantastic (Curtis's walk with the mother which ended with her opening the incinerator is still fixed in my mind), and this version was equally good.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I find that Dominic Rowan (new attorney guy working with Freema) easy on the eyes, I tell you what. Love me some big soulful, brown eyes.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

A&E has a Criminal Minds marathon tomorrow featuring famous guest stars. Unlike many other shows, that captures some really stellar episodes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't remember seeing the one I'm watching now, and I'm sure they mean Cybill Shepherd as the famous person, but also Vondie Curtis Hall! Mercedes McNab!

That ep also has Randolph Mantooth, Michael Biehn, and Lolita Davidovitch.

All of whom are "Hey It's That Guy" to me.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

The Closer:

So when Capt. Rader hit that guy in the face with the beanbag round, did anybody else think she had hit him in the nose and done the drive-the-cartilage-into-the-brain thing so she could face a wrongful death lawsuit of her own? Just me?

Gotta say, dead or just unconscious baddie, she was kind of badass. This ep may be the first time I ever liked her.

Only SPN watchers will get this but it keeps cracking me up that even Lucifer is all 'what the fuck is up with this chick!?'

It staves off thebdepressing realization that no, she has learned *nothing* from this whole wrongful death situation.
