It was on This American Life and was very amusing.

sumi, I know, right?
It cracked me up that the TAL staff took the inventory and actually expected to score . Every client I see thinks they are much worse than they really are. (except for one, but we shall not go there) They were kind of cute confessing their 'sins' .
The line is classic, because it is so true. "I do not think that word means what you think it means."
Ooops. white fonting for a fun surprise at the end of the TAL piece.
I love that the one that stole that test manual never even considered charging for the tests. It was wrongheaded but hardly antisocial.
That totally cracked me up. And I loved, LOVED how they cut the piece so as to completely bury the lead. Nicely done, TAL.
Interesting article, bonny. Thanks.

that is a great fucking link!
I listed to the TAL piece to and I was hee-hawing the whole time. I especially was curious that people thought Ira Glass of all people would score on the test when awkward /= psychopathic. Hilarious. I thought it was notable he mentioned that his coworkers thought he might score high, but what his wife would have speculated was silent. I figured that was our tip that there was no way he (or anyone else on his staff) would have a heartbeat on the test.
