Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

Art Crawl!!!

NCIS - I hope that Tony's role is a way to give that character back some of the integrity he had before they decided that all he was is an overgrown Frat boy.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

he has really transformed Ryan from a relatively mild-mannered guy to a badass Rock of Gibraltrar.

A casual look at a description of the show would make most viewers think that this was about the two main characters, yet somehow the show-runners and writers have been skillful and canny enough to turn it into an ensemble show. The cast as a whole are strong enough, brilliant enough to meet the challenges that are given to the supporting characters. Seamus Deaver isn't the only one who can do a lot with a little, then deliver a truckload when given more to work with. I wonder if the people who develop tv shows are generally getting smarter about not just spitting out 2D supporting characters, or if Mr. Fillion has been preaching that gospel there.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I've said it before, but Ryan and Esposito so easily could have been ongoing stooges for Castle and Beckett. Indeed, it almost looked like they were going there early on, but they went a whole 'nother, much more surprising and better way.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, Ryan and Esposito are my all time favorite 2nd cop partners. There's just so much more there there to their characters. And the fact that they give it play just makes me love this show.

I could do with Alexis angsting about more than just the boy, and I liked it when mom had more going on than wise fireside counsel for her son. But as far as secondary characters getting full shift, this show does really well with it for such an apparently lightweight show. Even Lanie gets character development.

When Beckett got shot, Esposito had to hold back Lanie from running to her. Just gut-wrenching.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

At one point there was kind of a power walk going on - kind of a wedge formation with Beckett leading and Castle, Ryan and Esposito following. Loved the way it looked!

Huh--an interview and photoshoot with MGG. You can definitely tell he was a fashion model.

I love the all-black suit with the Converse tennies.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Damn, he smooth.
