1. Possibly. Some Glocks can be modified to seal out water, and I'd guess that a lot of Glocks would fire once. However, recoil and noise are quite different under water.
2. They're Kevlar plates. They only weight 3-5 pounds and don't absorb water, so I don't think it would make much difference. They're also moderately difficult to get out of.
fyi - turns out Kevlar may keep out bullets but it's not stain resistant (at least the vests aren't). Found this out from a former co-worker whose boyfriend was a cop. She had this kitten ....
And Hotch in jeans... TWICE.
If they ever put Reid in jeans, that'll be a memorable ep.
BBC Sherlock: Just for fun - I've downloaded a little animated Sherlock and John to run around my monitor. They're sitting glaring at each other right now. This is adorable. If anyone else wants a pet Sherlock and/or John, they're here, along with Moriarty, Mycroft, and Lestrade. They have caused no problems... so far. Though Sherlock shows a marked tendency to sulk and then clone himself.
I don't even have CM recording in HD any longer but that was a pretty good ep. I do miss JJ on the team. And I don't know if one decent ep is enough to keep me really interested. I mostly made sure I watched because I read reactions in here. Man, I really used to love this show. It's hard when feelings fizzle but aren't totally gone.
Cass, there is good news coming in the season finale and for season 7. Make sure you watch the finale on the 18th.
I'm definitely watching through the end of the season. Well, I'm recording. If the eps (are there two left?) stay halfway good, I will watch them too.
If you're not worried about casting spoilers, hit Spoilage Lite and go back twenty posts or so. That will give you the news that has since been confirmed.
OK. Just wanted to make sure. I'm more encouraged now that Erica Messer has been named showrunner. She's making all the right noises, but I'll need to see it on the screen next season to stick around as a diehard.
