My BFF is coming over to spend the night before the Royal Wedding (and we are getting up at ass thirty to drink mimosas and talk about the hats). We love ED2, so we might have to watch it.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
I don't think it was significantly worse than, say, "Bubba Hotep". But I suppose that's a bit like comparing non-aerosole cheez food to the cheez food that comes in a jar. I should add that I enjoyed them, and can see that, like cheap cheese, would be best appreciated with a cheap beer. Or four.
Points totally taken.
Anyone else watch Hawaii 5-O yesterday? Puff Daddy was not a good actor (almost painful to watch him, especially since he got tons of screen time). I did, however, love the fact that the big writing on McGarrett's cast is an ad for Kamakono's shaved ice business!
I thought it was a pretty bad episode because it spent so much time on Puff Daddy and not even the usual amount of time on the 5-0 guys.
I totally did other things online while 5-0 was on. It was painful to watch. Anyone who thinks Alex O'Laughlin is stiff just needs to watch Puff. Urgh.
Flashpoint comes back May 6th.

I had my head down, coloring, to avoid the Puff so I didn't even see the ad on the cast. I'd rewatch, except that I don't rightly care.
That was really bad stunt casting. . . made the show much less fun.
Stunt casting!??! Puff is totally legit. He's totally a semi-regular on CSI Orange.
I did not expect Puffy/P.Diddy/Diddy Dirty Money/Whatthefuckeverhe'scallinghimselfthisweek to be any good (the man can't sing, dance, rap OR act, how did he become a mogul?!?!), so the fact that he was okay was a pleasant surprise.
The gut shot thing was irritating, especially with Diddy running after suspects and diving through windows and whatnot. The token hand to the stomach and wincing was at least a nod to the fact that he was injured, but they should have picked a different injury if they wanted him to be that active. I suppose that they were trying to imply that he was as BAMF as Steve.
