Dana, are you sure about that? Jane is pretty hardcore. I think I'd bet on Jane.
I'm with le nub on this one.

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

There should be some kind of oil involved.

OK, now I'm imagining Hugh Laurie instead of Jason Statham in The Transporter. Which is FUCKING HILARIOUS!!!! Thank you!
Cute ending on Castle.
I liked the Alexis B-story on Castle. Liked seeing Alexis being more of a typical kid and screwing up a little, instead of the paragon of perfect young lady she's often written as. Liked Castle being more of a typical dad and screwing up a little, too. And then they talked it out and fixed it, modeling good parent-child relations, as we expect them to, and most importantly, Castle did not solve the murder based on an insight he achieved because of something Alexis randomly said! I really was expecting him to blink and say, "hey... you'll do things for your friends that you shouldn't, and the killer must have friends!" or something.
Did anyone else say to the DA, how can you tell me about all the great things you'll do in office, when you've already proven how greedy and corrupt you are?

Oh heavens, yes. Bruce Davison does morally bankrupt so damned well-- almost as well as he does cheerful priest. He's been one of my favorite character actors for years.

It's got to beat being known as Willard, which he was for years after that came out.
Castle was good yesterday. As usual, I love it when Ryan and Esposito get decent screen time away from Castle or Beckett, and them tossing the victim's apartment and finding his temp roommate was great. Ryan can really be a badass, can't he?

That was awesome.
I loved that everytime Beckett said, "Talk to so-and-so..." or "Check on such-and-such..." They'd say they were already doing it. It annoys me no end when procedurals have people telling other people how to do their own jobs (Nick on CSI telling Archie how to analyze video footage, I'm lookin' at you). I'm glad our boys get to be competent (and AWESOME).

I was really worried when they introduced those two at the beginning of the series that they were going to go with the cliche of the incompetent rival team. So glad they are competent and any rivalry is good-natured.
