Okay, first of all, DC metro trains are not metal, and the stations are not tiled. Secondly, DC residents do not stand quietly on the escalator during rush hour.

This is such a pet peeve for me as a DC resident. I know that it's not a big deal, but details matter!

ETA: Although they did get one thing right when they said that no one was paying attention to the house fires because there was a storm brewing. This place does shut down at the whisper of snow.
