How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When I go to add All Star Superman to my Netflix queue the only non-animated DVD it offers me is Criminal Minds season 1. I can't begin to imagine.

When I pointed out the Fireflyesque line from The Mentalist, someone on WX pointed out that Reid's line in LDSK is the reverse of that. I hadn't noticed.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What was the line?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

When I pointed out the Fireflyesque line from The Mentalist, someone on WX pointed out that Reid's line in LDSK is the reverse of that.

Possibly my favourite episode of Criminal Minds.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Dude, Emily Prentiss is one badass mofo. Really, really liked this episode, and where has Sebastien Roche' been all of my life?

Though I am still highly pissed off at the reason we are getting never-before-seen levels of Prentiss badass-ness.

What was the line?

"I was aiming for his leg."

He achieves a head shot. So it's a 180 flip.

Oh, hah. I had picked up on the CM but forgot about the Firefly.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

"I was aiming for his leg."

I remember the reverse from Due South, which leads to Frasier adjusting Vecchio's gun sight.

Which now sounds really porny to me.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

(HEEE, Serenity shout-out.)

I was pointing and bouncing and too late realized I was the only one in the room who understood or would care about the reference.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

where has Sebastien Roche' been all of my life?

Several years ago, he was in a terrific History Channel film called The Crossing about Washington's crossing of the Delaware, and I've loved him ever since. Isn't he amazing? When he showed up last night, I think I squealed in delight.

Monsieur Roche tweeted a shirtless pic of himself some short time back.
