I don't know why the unsub focus doesn't bother me like it did last season. It is possible I'm just generally more detached. But last year I hated it pretty much every time. This season I don't notice there was an unsub focus until someone mentions it.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Ah Castle. I can't remember if it was Ryan or Esposito (I'm guessing Ryan, though): "Mom and dad are fighting!"
I think it was Esposito. Ryan wanted to know who was winning.
Last night's H5O had great Danny/Steve bitchin':
"You need help!! I will pay for it!!!
(Edit to change "therapy" to "help," which is even better!)
I love Scott Caan's delivery.
Yeah, that was classic.
The delivery of "This could have been avoided" was perfect.
Caan was on fire this episode.
NCIS: LA is proced?
Ed is SMOKING.
I don't watch much NCIS:LA, but I was pleased to see that they finally addressed potential future job prospects for both Tony and McGee on NCIS. Tim pointing out to Ziva that Tony cannot turn down another promotion like he did the Rota offer without committing career suicide makes me believe that TPTB are finally listening to the fanbase. Not only that, but they did a lot of callbacks to previous seasons and character backstory.
Michael Weatherly is really aging out of Tony. I think they need to mature his character so that his behaviour is more in line with his face. He was always pretty pathetic (I think they did a weak job of dancing the line), but it looks so much worse when his face is mature and his character so deeply juvenile.
