I wonder if I need to keep watching CSI *and* the Mentalist. This is like the 2nd or 3rd time they have essentially had the same perpetrator for the main crime in the same week.
Perhaps they've got some sort of 2 for 1 deal going.

The proposal and the response. I knew there had to be something to come between Hannah and Booth, but I wasn't expecting it to be that.
As soon as he started ring shopping I was having questions, though. This was the woman who moved in with just one duffel bag, right? She's a nomad, she doesn't like ties, she doesn't want to settle down in one place. As far as we know they've never discussed anything as permanent as marriage. They've been happy, but it hasn't been going on for very long. The only reason Booth went for the ring in the first place was because he was goaded into it by Sweets. If he had been willing to go on with the current arrangement she would have stayed; it was Booth who made it an all or nothing proposition.
I kind of wasn't paying close enough attention to what Booth said to Brennan in the bar, until I realized it must have been important.
