Okay, I didn't get to watch NCIS until after class last night and was very, very tired (like, had to restart it half a dozen times because I kept falling asleep before the end of the episode), but was everybody else annoyed by the episode? The main storyline didn't engage me somehow - which disappointed me because I usually love GuestActress (whose name I'm blanking on, you know, Vicki from Blood Ties), and the subplot about McGee's stolen identity was so badly done - Tony was being waaay more sophomoric than usual, and then the wrap-up was both anti-climactic and stupid...neighbor kid thinks I'm a stick in the mud, so destroys my credit rating (oh yeah, and commits a felony to the tune of $10,000) to make me lighten up? WTH? And they go with it? No seriously, WTH?
Just me? Was I just tired and cranky?
Epic, not just you. I felt it was definitely the worst episode of the season. I also don't like how much they seem to be focusing more on Abby's quirkiness rather than her kick ass science skills lately.
Nah, it was a dull and eh NCIS.
Not only that, they've done the "McGee gets his identity stolen" routine before. You'd think that he'd have put up better defenses since then.
In addition to Kathy's statement, I found it problematic that they all thought it was so cute that his identity was stolen by a kid.
I think there point was more "Tony figured it out using old-fashioned cop instincts over Tim's hi-tech gizmos." But yeah, I don't regret missing most of it.
Weren't we supposed to be seeing more of Tony's history as a cop this season?

Maybe that was it. Finding little psychopath. That was his character development. For the season.
Just saw on Facebook that NCIS has been renewed. Yay!
Sounds like I can delete the last NCIS without watching it. Just as well. I've gotten really bored and annoyed with the show. Not yet to the point of chucking it like CM. At least I'm gonna watch until
Beth Riesgraf
shows up. (guest star spoiler)
I actually watched the Pioneers of Crime Fiction thing yesterday. Glad to see Garner on there looking reasonably well...he had a stroke last year.(although they did to him what photographers want to do to me and shot him from the chest up, so who's to say?) Martin Landau can do a lot of voices...is that something you might be interested in?
