Seriously, I think that's Morgan's niche on the team (and part of the reason he's so beautifully fucked up), he's danger guy. He gets upset when someone else gets to put themselves in harm's way, like when Reid had to get on the train with the crazy guy and he tried to convince Reid to teach him sleight of hand in 15 minutes, so he could go in.
Yeah, he does have a special affinity with bombs- "Empty Planet" and "Mayhem" come to mind, but as Zen pointed out, in this case, it was Hotch sending him in.
Like I said, it was a minor nit.
It was like once they figured out who the UnSubs were and their motivations, the use for Reid was done, so they dismissed him to command, never to be heard from again.
But he had done most of the heavy lifting up until that point though. Nobody other than Garcia really did anything that worked out who they were. It was all him and his Anonymous knowledge.
That's what I meant by unbalanced, though-- he was in the ep so heavily, then he wasn't. It had a slight whiplash feel to it.
Bones: I still think Max had something to do with it.
That was a really good Bones.
Was there a new Mentalist last night? TiVo doesn't seem to have known about it.
My DVR doesn't think so either.
Mine recorded but I can't remember if I have it set for new episodes only.
Mentalist wasn't new. It was the episode where we met Jane's brother-in-law and saw a bit of the carney life he used to lead.
Loved Bones. Poor Sweets! He was such a total woobie in this ep. Loved Caroline and loved that when Booth noticed that Sweets was back to normal and asked what happened, Sweets responded with "Caroline hollered at me."
Love Arnold Vosloo as Jake. He's going to make a fascinating adversary.
That head shot was about as gruesome as anything I've seen on TV (although less icky than a lot of Bones/CSI/etc. type stuff). Talk about giving a villain a defnitive end.
