Something new, I think. I suspect that it has something to do with Prentiss' past with her mother, since the killer was in Russia.

Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
WRT the ep... whoa. They really went out of their comfort zone on this one in a very Frida Kahlo meets Quentin Tarantino sort of way. And who else caught The Gravedigger as their Montana police liaison?
ETA-- So good to see Angus MacFadyen again. I may need to break out the Miracles DVDs and watch another show that ABC managed to kill with poor decision-making.
ETA 2: edited for potential spoilerish stuff.
As soon as I saw the violent content warning, I knew they were going somewhere new for this show--that might have been the first time I've seen one of those on a CM episode.
Really excellent show.
Barb, I think that's spoilery for this thread.
And who else caught The Gravedigger as their Montana police liaison?
That's who she was. I knew she was someone familiar.
She was also the DA on The Wire.
Yeah, that's who I usually think of when I see her but I couldn't place her at all last night, and then I forgot to look her up.
I hate to admit it, but after last night's CM I finally deleted it from my DVR queue. It left me with bad angry thoughts in my head all night, and I don't need that from something I'm watching for entertainment.
I didn't like last night's episode because it focused too much on the criminals and not enough on the team.
Yes, that was odd.
