Hey, he's going to be in a tv movie with Lee Pace! and he's got another movie too.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Okay, finally figured out who Vulcan Simmons was played by and no wonder I didn't quite recognize him-- Bones viewers, remember our original head of the Jeffersonian, Dr. Goodman?
I actually teared up when Martha said "As much as you love Alexis, that's how much I love you."
that was an AMAZING moment. Susan Sullivan was brilliant.
She really was. I loved when she said "You wrote twenty-two books before you met her." There was so much left unsaid-- that didn't need to be said. Just tacit acknowledgment and understanding of what they're both aware of-- she just wants him to be honest with himself.
Fave line though: "I went through twelve years of Catholic school!"
Ryan was really on this week. His interrogation of the entitled college boy was terrific, and he was great in the torture scene. My next-cubicle neighbor is also a big Castle fan, but she usually doesn't get to watch until Tuesday night. So, when I came into work today, we talked about some earlier episodes and we ended up gushing about Ryan's blueblueblue eyes.

HMOG!! I knew that I recognized the voice, but I just couldn't place him. I meant to look it up later, but forgot!

What Vortex said! I knew I knew the voice, but this guy was such a villain that I didn't connect.
I give the authors full kudos for knowing they don't have to spell everything out in the relationship. Beckett's wrapping Castle's hand was a sweet moment, acknowledgement of both the attraction and the unwillingness to really go into it just yet. I like that they're not playing her as oblivious, just uncertain.
Looking back into the earlier comments on Castle, I see that Cass figured out Jonathan Adams (Vulcan Simmons) before any of us.
All hail the Mighty Cass!

Totally did not recognize him; he played that part really well. I miss his character on Bones. The captain on Castle has a similar vibe to me.
I just named my new iPhone Castle. Couldn't help myself.
