H50 - I kept waiting for a verbal reference to Seven, and laughed a lot when I got it.
I also loved Dano's "Really?" (and his facial expression) when McGarrett yanked the severed head out of the box.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

Danny's deconstructing of Steve's daddy issues killed me.
Also Danny scolding Steve for buying stuff off the internet. They are such a pair of old ladies.
So glad, too, to see some more of Chin's backstory.
The Danno and McGarrett show is the best.
Also, they aren't giving DDK enough to do: I hope that the introduction of Chin's ex means that this will change.
I hope so, too-- they're still trying to find their balance, but I'm glad they've finally started introducing some of the elements they said they were going to from the getgo, like Steve working on his dad's car (which is Jack Lord's Marquis from Original Flavor).
I also loved seeing some more of Chin's humor when he said "That just ain't right," to Danny.
They are such a pair of old ladies.
So true.
And the bromance is strong. Danny calling Steve "babe", I can see, I know east coasters who do that. But Steve calling Danny "babe" and "baby"? Really, writers? Are you trying to give the slashers conniption fits?
The guy playing Spencer looked so familiar to me - and it turns out he played the ADA on Moonlight.

The one who was engaged to whatsherface?
Exactly.
