"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I wonder how many times someone has sung "only a day away" to her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wasn't really paying attention, but I guess I know whose kid it is now.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think it was a family tradition on his wife's side.

Tradition of what? Cheesy-ass names that will give a child a complex?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

According to IMDb, he and his wife like names based on puns. His wife's name is one also.

I heard an interview with him where he says that it is his wife's family tradition. (Which explains why her name is nutty and his is not.)

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Watching CM S5 "The Performer". I've been part of the LA goth scene. I do not believe LA goths would ever gather and cheer anyone on like that. And remember kids, friends don't let friends dress like the crow. Or cut "love will tear us apart" to only one verse.

Oh cool, it's an actual rockstar playing Dante. How meta. I never paid much attention to Bush, but it turns out their lead singer is rather compelling.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah, Rossdale was good in that role, I thought. Plus he's rarely difficult to look at...
