“Not dead yet!”

Simon Mirren is such a deliciously twisted little bastard.

Loved tonight's ep so much.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I loved that final scene. Metaspectacular.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Squee! I loved this episode so much. Lots of ambience, which made up for the lack of spicy brains profiling. The music, makeup and lighting really stood out. There were nice moments all around tonight: Reid, Emily, and Hotch; Hotch and Garcia; Garcia and Rossi; Garcia and Morgan.

And I was especially amused that Hotch's idea of casual was to remove his tie.

I know! It's like the man can't wear a polo and jeans around adults these days. But what I really want to know is who was the woman sitting next to Hotch in the final scene? The rest of the audience was in shadow, but she was not. I truly hope that's not the secret he's been keeping.

Is it just me, or is S6 turning out better than anticipated? I hope they can sustain it through 24 episodes, especially considering the changes coming towards the end of the season concerning PB.

I noticed the same thing.

Fave line: "I.Q. of one eighty-seven cut to sixty, just like that."

Heh.

That was a good line. Oh, and it was Hotch and Prentiss that got to play UnSub and Victim this time around. Really, I think everyone got a little something tonight, no matter who you 'ship (if that's your ken). If not, it was still satisfying from a team/family interaction standpoint.

“Not dead yet!”

The standout interaction in this episode was Hotch/Garcia. I said to Lewis that his manipulation of Garcia to speak to the press was his payback for last week's "Thing." And the fact that Hotch can manage to both manipulate someone at the same time he's being understanding and supportive is just brilliant.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Loved last night's CM! I've actually been a bit meh about the episodes this season so far (they haven't been awful, just none of them stood out as excellent), so this one was the first that really thrilled me with its quality.

Loved the guy playing the unsub--he was terrific! That scene where he was talking to the little girl in the train station was a great demonstration of his acting skill, when he went from chatting so sweetly with the girl to insultingly dismissing her as he went on the hunt with his next victim was chilling. And Sally Kirkland was fun to watch again.

One of my favorite little cast member throwaway lines (after the IQ one of Prentiss; best of the night!) was during Garcia's briefing when Reid speculated that the unsub was eating the lips, Garcia complained about that visual imagery, and he responded, "You asked," all while munching on a muffin.

I had to hit pause on that because I was laughing so hard. While this was definitely Garcia's ep, the Reid moments were pretty stellar.

Oh, and a CM scheduling FYI: "The Uncanny Valley" is going to be on CBS the day before Thanksgiving, if you missed it before.
