For a moment in NCIS, I thought Tony was actually drinking deer urine, they'd play that kind of trick on him. But no, just tea for his throat.

Liked that fakeout of the tea and the rifle.

Does it strike you that the show is feeling more like early-NCIS than the more recent (and poorer quality) angst-filled later episodes? They're going for a more light-hearted feel that I'm liking a lot.

Also, it seems like the guys are calling McGee "Tim" all of the sudden. I know that Tony's been doing that more since the beginning of Season 7, but now McGee doesn't have to either screw up massively or do something terrific to have Gibbs call him by his first name.

Art Crawl!!!

The Futon Critic has little video interviews with various Criminal Minds castmembers.

More caper-y, yes. But I suspect we're going to get some Ziva-dad angst here soon. I quite like that McGee is getting the respect he deserves. I find myself yearning for a nice "agent in danger, team to the rescue" stuff, though. Something to accentuate how they feel about each other.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

The problem I'm having is buying that even with the governor's blessing they're getting away with the methods they are getting away with.

The State Prosecutor's office must hate them.

House: I loved House and Wilson's adventures in babysitting! Was the female doctor of the week Lane from Gilmore Girls?

The Futon Critic has a series of CM cast/writer interview videos that are fun to watch. (Warning: Simon Mirren's has a spoiler for an upcoming Garcia ep.) MGG is hilarious in his, showing off his Shemar-pose and how fast he can draw his gun. Oh, and Kirsten goes into depth about her being a BtVS fan and how she puts shout-outs to Buffy into her CM scripts, and also she's big friends with Tom Lenk.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Was the female doctor of the week Lane from Gilmore Girls?

It was! Love her.

Me too! But I wasn't sure if it was her because she seemed so grown up.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's probably not warm and fuzzy to be more attracted to Morgan after hearing him talk down a 13 year old at gunpoint, but there you have it. He was sexy as hell. And I believed every word of it.
