To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

“Not dead yet!”

H50: Double banana, bitch.

As pretty as Alex O'Loughlin is to look at (not to mention, Daniel Dae Kim), Scott Caan is running away with my geeky, snarky little heart.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think Alex knows where the emotional heart is. At least DDK knows where it's located and goes to get it from time to time.

Caan, the freaky midget, is on fire for the entire hour.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Because my DVR will only capture two shows at once, and I can't watch a different one while two are recording, I've been going for Castle and Chase instead of H50. But I'm thinking I'd be enjoying H50 more than Chase, which is a bit too angsty. I think I would prefer light, meaningless entertainment with characters who have no enduring emotional problems that must be dealt with in every episode.

Yeah, I just decided that I liked H50 better than Chase. If I'm home, I will watch Castle in real time and record the other two.

H5O has brought me close to tears twice so far, I think. And I'm really not sure what's up with that. It's certainly not the writing. Okay, it's pretty much Grace Park and DDK. And they are also very pretty.

The scene where they give Grace's character her shield? I was totally sniffly and resentful of it. I should be saving emo for a better show, dammit.

But I keep watching.

Got me too, and I had called the scene early in the episode. Any time that Danno's with his daughter or talking about her, gets me all lump-in-my-throat.

Seriously-- little hobbit has totally hooked me.

I totally missed it last night, but someone on TWOP pointed out that having Calderon be a big Castle fan was a big Romancing the Stone shout-out.
