Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have given up on NCIS:LA but original flavor was good this week with the guest stars and the interns.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Just watched The Defenders. I liked it. Amusing, and I always like watching lawyers ply their trade.

“Not dead yet!”

Boy there were more than a few "fuck off and die" comments to CBS within the dialogue of tonight's CM.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I just need to reiterate how much CBS and ABC Studios suck. The whole CM episode tonight was one big "Fuck you!" to TPTB. Lots of meta layered overtop of outright text. AJ Cook was on tonight, and I hope she lands an even better gig soon.

FTR, this is the kind of team episode I've come to expect. Everyone did a fabulous job, and I lost it with Hotch and Spence's quivering lips, and then really lost it when Garcia broke down.

I'm glad they didn't write JJ off by having her decide to be a stay-at-home mom. It would have cheapened everything she's gone through. It's a valid choice, but she needs to DO something she feels makes the world safer for her son; she's not one to sit back and react.

And again, Barb and I are sharing a brain. Cuban-Italian makes for a spicy mix...

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I got a little teary with Spence. Very well played by MGG.

Very well played by MGG.

Somehow I don't think the actors were actually acting much at the end there. And poor Spence gets to watch another family member leave. How much more can he take?

Oh, and can I just say how much I loved KV putting it all out there in that scene? Crying is not pretty, but it is gut-wrenching, and she definitely showed it. Who cares what you look like when you're losing an important part of your life?

Indeed. People should fear us.

I got a little teary with Spence. Very well played by MGG.

He really showed opposite sides of the spectrum since earlier in the episode when little dude tried to walk off and first Prentiss, then Spencer blocked his way, I loved the exchange of glances between little dude looking at Spence like "Seriously?" and Spencer coming back with as much of an outright "Bring it, bitch," look as I've ever seen from him and the beauty was how completely subtle it was.

All the more of a contrast with how out there his emotions were at the end, like a lost boy, uttering, "you can't go, they can't make you go."

And KV just freakin' OWNED her moment. She let it all hang out.

I initially wanted to smack Hotch for just shaking her hand, but then I realized, it's just what Hotch would do, since if he hugs her, he's acknowledging the finality of it. Shaking her hand didn't have the same air of ending.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

MGG tweeted that he was sadder to see AJ go than Spence was to see JJ, so I really had to see him sell it.

And he did. They all did.
