Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Paget is just Old Hollywood stunning.

She reminds me of Ann Miller or Ann Rutherford.

Plus, the quirk factor adds exponentially to the pretty.

And I love how the costumers dress Reid, especially since "Memoriam." He really rocks the darker tones, but even the light brown sweater vest he wears in the beginning of "Uncanny Valley" looks fantastic on him. But, my favorite look has to be from mid-S4, when he's wearing a watch chain. When was the last time anyone has seen a modern character wearing a watch chain on TV?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've got nothing against breaking men like twigs. I just have to make sure it's the last time I've planned to use them.

Has no one mentioned MGG's hands? Love them to bits, and all the detail he puts into them for Reid.

Shemar is just about the perfect pretty boy. If I wrote poetry, I'd compose an ode to his eyebrows. They're Platonic.

I like TG lots too, I just don't have as much to say about him.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I would break him like a twig. That is not hot.

BWAH! You owe me (well, my work) a new monitor.

I can appreciate he and Shemar both, but they ping me on the "too pretty" scale.

Shemar, yes. TG? Perhaps when he was younger. Not any more. There's too many imperfections for him to be considered "pretty." You want to see TG looking pretty? Search for clips from the movie "Love and Human Remains" on YouTube. Especially the one with the kiss.

On the commentary for "Profiler, Profiled," Shemar talks about how MGG is a "hand actor," like others are "eye actors," and geeks out a bit over his talent in using his hands to add character.

If I wrote poetry, I'd compose an ode to his eyebrows. They're Platonic.

They form perfect tildes!!

I will be more than happy to pick up the slack in that department.

edit: LOL. Most excellent x-post!

Oh, I love his hands. Pianist's hands. I can't remember which episode it was, I was recently watching, where he was playing with his hands, rubbing the fingertips of one over the knuckles of the other hand very rhythmically, then reversing sides and doing the same.

And I'm only 5'2" and when I'm in shape, I'm not exactly dainty, but I don't think I'd break him, unless we're talking stamina-wise.

I think that this might be my favorite MGG pic ever.

TG? Perhaps when he was younger. Not any more. There's too many imperfections for him to be considered "pretty."

Like when he portrayed Beauchamp on Tales of the City. Or in that ridic Far and Away. Lordy, he was sigh-worthy, sitting astride a magnificent horse in tight breeches and glossy riding boots.

But age and imperfections and all, he's still very handsome in that classical way. Not bad and I wouldn't toss it out of bed for eatin' crackers, but he's definitely all yours, sorella.

Your generosity is duly noted. You still have to look at those clips. If I weren't still in the office, I'd link them myself. Most are definitely NSFW.
